本作《灵能力者大混战》是《圈套》系列十周年纪念剧场版。故事依然在山田奈绪子与上田次郎之间展开。 某日来自万练村的中森翔平（佐藤健 饰）来到上田次郎（阿部宽 饰）的研究室寻求帮助。万练村自古以来一直由灵媒师统治，并由他们保佑村子远离各种灾厄。最近灵媒师过世，必须在百日之内找到继任者。来自全国各地的灵能力者闻风而至，一场灵能力大赛拉开序幕。但在互相残杀淘汰对手后，才会产生下一任灵媒师。翔平希望打破迷信，便请上田挺身而出，证明这世上根本没有灵能力。同时，缺钱的奈绪子（仲间由纪惠 饰）也前往万练村，打算假装成灵能力者来敛财，却没想到与准备拆穿假灵能力的上田不期而遇。再度聚首的两人却也因此卷入一场灵能力者的大逃杀混战之中，他们能否安然度过这场危机并揭发灵能力者们的真相呢？。故事开始于1977年的波兰，18岁的托马斯（安德烈·瑟韦林 Andrzej Seweryn 饰）跟随着母亲索菲亚和父亲基斯瓦夫离开了熟悉的家乡，来到了首都华沙，在这里，一家人决定开始崭新的生活。 可是，很显然，托马斯并不喜欢在华沙的日子，他极度敏感而又自卑的性格令他陷入了深深的抑郁之中。 基斯瓦夫此刻正值他的事业上升期，身为艺术家的他想要在华沙的艺术圈子里打响自己的名头，自然无暇顾及儿子的变化，母亲亦对此无能为力。更糟糕的是，托马斯开始对死亡充满了好奇。在一次自杀未遂之后，一家人终于开始重视起托马斯的异常来，索菲亚和基斯瓦夫决定拯救这个摇摇欲坠的家。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
