17世纪的前半部，相比起欧洲其他正饱受着战争摧残的国家，荷兰，这个幸运之国借助频繁的远东贸易联系，稳定地发展着国内本土经济。到了1637年末，一种来自亚洲中部的花朵：郁金香，却颠覆整个荷兰。当时，这种异彩纷呈的美艳花朵，很快就博得了大多数人的喜爱，人们对花朵的需求渐渐上升，价值随即升高，也在同时，大家在其中发现了黄金之梦。荷兰人民开始纷纷往花朵的种球上砸钱投资，种球的身价借此机会瞬间飙升。然而，在花朵上的投资又能维持多久呢，最终，这场郁金香投资美梦以失败告终。。Lesbians didn't always get to see themselves on screen.
